Not that either of them deserve it, but because they're just not the judges' favourites and with so few girls left, shit just hits the fan like that.

Knowing Nigel, he's going to hate Jane's photo. He's probably going to say something about the way she pushed her lips out. I was really surprised how they hated her photo from the Lucha photoshoot. I really got pissed off when Nigel said she looked like a pornstar and ALT called her "plain jane". ugh!

I agree about the photoshoots, they're great ideas, but the execution is dreck.
This new photoshoot has to be my favorite though
I think based off the photos Chris did the worst, but I do see Jane or Liz getting kicked off.
jane is growing on me though I really hope she stays.
I LOVE kayla, like I've said before if this was c14 i'd be rooting for her all the way
but I'm not sure she should be in Vogue Italia... not convinced.

it's like, 3 seconds before that when she says you guys are all wearing missoni. the hair, the clothes, and panel is all different.

The eliminations keep on getting more predictable. I hate how you can tell who's going to be eliminated within the next 5 minutes. I knew Ann would also get the downhill edit.

Kayla - I love her personality, just love it, probably helps that her look reminds me of my cousin's. And I feel like she had the best pictures in the beginning, but now she's slipping a little...at least that's what the final picture shows, since they always have that 10-second montage of her working her stuff and making me think she has to be the best model there, "shortness" aside (and WTF? I'm 5' 9" and I don't get called lanky and awkward for nothing! Unless it's just that I'm lanky...and awkward...*sob*...). But the best-freaking-montage-ever this time around definitely goes to Jane. It was epic, I could actually feel the Victorian-ness through the TV. But I really want Kayla to win, even if the motives ain't 100% rational. She'd certainly be better than 3/4 of the other winners we've had.

Chris - Oh my God, she's wonderful...when it comes to personality. Every time she's in confessional, she's great. "You know me, I don't give a damn." But yeah, she's not Vogue Italia. This opinion is pretty much universal as far as I know. Her Rodeo pictures were glorious, but in a "more-profound-type-of-Seventeen" way. I feel like she could be a Covergirl, though. Tyra always says that Covergirls need to be interesting and relatable, sooo...why haven't most of them been? Lol. On that note, the dual prize further exposes the nature of how the girls are expected to be commercial and high fashion, which sort of makes sense, but is also silly in the eyes of the rest of the industry considering how few girls are supposed to be both. ANTM is trying to pander to all sectors of the industry and it doesn't work.

Jane - I totally understand the love for her, and I don't want to be the one who hates on the nice aristocrat just because of the latter word, but...It's like, she's not outwardly conceited or anything, but just the way she carries herself, you can tell she doesn't really feel comfortable talking to the other girls. Maybe it's some weird strain of rich guilt. Eh, I guess the whole aloof-ness thing could just be an edit. As for her pictures, she didn't stand out in the beginning but that last shoot was freaking phenomenal to the nth power (where n is FIERCE). Some would say it's just because of her knowledge of European history and her experience with finer things (see what I did there? ;D ), but that would imply that any middle-aged history professor above a certain tax bracket should be able to strut her stuff that way (well, advantage of looks aside). She's improving and I'm trying not to judge her, but it's coming gradually.

Ann - I used to not really like her personality since the whole warlock thing seemed kind of fake and a route to get out of a question that she found inappropriate. I don't really get how she felt that question was intrusive. But now that she's coming out of her shell, she's a lot more bearable, ironically at a time when she's getting way less comfortable in her skin at the actual photoshoot. It's also kind of ironic that I'm against Jane and Ann's quietness when I'm often quiet, but come on! You're on a nationally televised TV competition, you've gotten this far, can't you just take what your personality is and "amplify" it? Imo, that's not really a false pretense. You're required to "have a personality" and, according to ANTM, being quiet isn't one, and if you know the ANTM drill, you know it's rare that the quiet girl wins and if she does it's because Tyra wants to throw everyone off a la Nicole.

Chelsey - Eh, she's cool. Great pictures, nice girl, driven, crazy knowledgeable. It seems everybody wants her to win except the judges. One bad photo and they're ready to send her packing, one good photo and she hardly gets deserved recognition, one mediocre photo and if it wasn't for that iota of you liking her, you wouldn't know she exists. She'd make a good Vogue Italia girl, but...yeah. Yeah...

i felt that that was her trying to be funny, which made me totally uncomfortable.
i was like no, honey that's not funny. it's kinda annoying.

Yeah, whenever Ann tries to be funny, she mostly looks like she wants to snap someone's neck.
